Thank you for your purchase of this unique product for your Toyota Tacoma! With the Switchback and Amber DRL Board for the 2016-2019 Toyota Tacoma, you will be able to convert your factory LEDs inside the Tacoma headlight into either a white or amber running light, along with an amber turn signal feature. They are a direct replacement for the factory LED panels inside the light.

Installation Instructions
Step 1 - Disconnect Factory LED Board.
To begin, remove the lens from the headlamp. Next, disconnect the factory LED board by pressing on the white clip and pulling it straight back. Set the back of the headlamp assembly aside.
Step 2 - Remove LED Board Screws.
Looking at the lens assembly, remove the three screws holding the LED board in place.
Step 3 - Install LED Board.
Remove the factory LED board and replace it with your new Diode Dynamics LED board using the same alignment points. Replace the three original screws.
Step 4 - Route Wires.
Route the wires through the dust cap in the headlamp, sealing any holes you may create. Once complete, replace the headlamp lens and repeat for the other headlamp.
Wiring Instructions
Step 5 - Connect Driver.
Connect the LED board to the driver. Then connect the driver to the pigtail. Tap the pigtail wires to 12V power and ground. This will dictate when the panels turn on. The most popular wiring choice is listed in the table below. The black wire must be grounded before any function will work.
IMPORTANT: DO NOT plug the LED panel directly into the pigtail without the driver. The LEDs must be plugged into the driver first to control the power.
Step 6 - Mount Driver.
Mount the driver and tuck all wires. Driver should be mounted outside of headlight for serviceability, in a location away from the engine block to avoid excessive heat buildup.
Step 7 - Reinstall Headlight.
Test thoroughly, reseal the headlight, and reinstall onto the vehicle.
