The SS6 SAE/DOT LED Light Bar Kit for the 2014-2023 Toyota 4Runner allows you to mount a pair of Stage Series 6" LED Light Bars in the upper grille opening of the 5th-Gen Runner. The included SS6 LED Light Bars are more than just off-road lights. They are street-legal for use as driving lights or SAE fog lights!
The SS6 SAE/DOT LED Light Bar Kit for the 2014-2023 Toyota 4Runner features a plug-and-play wiring harness that allows you to control the SS6 LED Light bars through the factory auxiliary light switch or the included toggle switch! The included brackets were CAD-designed to install using factory mounting points, retaining the clean OEM-like appearance of your 4Runner.

Mounting Instructions
Step 1 - Remove Trim Panel.
Remove the thirteen push rivets holding the core support trim panel in place. Push down in the center of each push rivet and then use a plastic trim removal tool or flathead screw driver to extract the push rivet.
Reset the push rivets upon removal by pushing the center section back through the top.
Step 2 - Remove Four Push Rivets.
Using a plastic trim removal tool or flathead screw driver, remove the four plastic push rivets shown in the image below.
Step 3 - Install Brackets.
Install your new Diode Dynamics brackets using the provided M8 hardware in the newly uncovered holes shown in the image below.
Step 4 - Install SS6 LED Light Bars.
Using a 10mm wrench, install your Stage Series 6” LED light bars in the brackets with the provided M6 hardware.
Wiring Instructions
The following instructions are for Toyota 4Runners with an Auxiliary Switch Bank. If you do not have the Auxiliary Switch Bank, use the included toggle switch adapter wire to route a switch. All power sources must be fused.
Step 5 - Mount Relay.
Determine a suitable location to mount the relay (A), near the battery or main power terminal.
Step 6 - Connect Power.
Connect the red power input wire (V) to the positive battery/power terminal. Connect the black ground wire to the negative battery terminal or a factory grounding point (G).
Step 7 - Connect Switch.
At the white connector, unplug the switch wires from the harness, and connect the extra pigtail here instead. Using the butt connector at the end of the pigtail, crimp the yellow wire to an OEM Auxiliary Switch wire lead (AUX).
NOTE: Power will be drawn from the battery, so any OEM Auxiliary Switch wires can be used, regardless of amperage rating.
Step 8 - Route Wiring.
Route the output wire(s) to the LED light bar(s), avoiding any moving parts or direct contact with heat sources. Plug the output connector(s) into the LED light bar(s).
Step 9 - Test Function.
Test to confirm the LED light bars are turning on. Aim your LED light bars. Please check your local laws and regulations for aiming, installation, and applicability.
Step 10 - Reinstall Trim Panel.
Reinstall the core support trim panel using the original thirteen push rivets. Push the center of the push rivets down so that they are flush with the top of the surface to lock them in place.
