Installation Instructions
Step 1 - Locate/Disconnect Factory 7-Pin Connector
Locate the 7-pin trailer connector on the rear bumper.
On the backside of the bumper, depress the locking tab to disconnect the OE plug from the back of the 7-pin trailer connector.
Step 2 - Plug 7-Pin Harness In Line w/ OE Harness
Connect the provided wire harness inline to the OE harness.
One side will go into the original plug, and the other side to the back of the 7-pin connector.
Step 3 - Route/Connect the DT Connector
Route the DT connector through the back of the hitch receiver.
Plug the DT connector into your HitchMount LED pod.
Step 4 - Insert HitchMount into the Receiver
Slide your HitchMount into your receiver, and ensure the tabs on the side of the snap-fit housing lock into place.
Step 4 - Test for Function
Verify that everything functions properly, and secure any loose wiring.
