Installation Instructions
Note: If you're installing the SSC1 or SSC2 LED Pods, use the harness without the external driver.
If you're installing the C1R LED Pods that include the additional fourth brake light and optional safety strobe feature, use the harness with the external driver.
Step 1 - Install Harness
Underneath the passenger side, locate the tail light connector above the exhaust pipe. Disconnect it by pulling the red locking tab towards the center of the vehicle.
Next, install the provided harness inline with the factory connectors making sure to push the locking tab back into the lock position.
Route the rest of the harness up over the frame and spare tire to the driver's side. Then, repeat these steps to connect the other end of the harness inline with the driver's side tail light connector.
Step 2 - Pod Assembly
Attach the pods to the brackets using a 5/32 Allen and a 3/8" wrench. Slide the SSC2 U-bracket over the pod, run the 5/32 bolt through the back, and secure it hand-tight with the supplied locking nut.
Next, feed the carriage bolt through the oval hole in the the U-bracket and reverse brackets. Secure it hand-tight with the washer, lock washer, and nut.
Repeat these steps for our second pod mirroring the first pod's orientation.
Step 3 - Install SSC1 Reverse Light Brackets
Moving underneath the bumper, we'll need to remove two (2) T40 Torx bolts on both sides.
Then reuse them to secure our reverse brackets to the vehicle
Step 4 - Final Adjustments
To make your final aiming adjustments, rotate the pod left and right, and then secure it using a 13mm wrench.
Tilt the pod up or down, then secure it in place with a 5/32 allen wrench and 3/8" wrench.
Zip tie any loose wiring up and away from hot or moving parts.
