The HitchMount LED Pod Reverse Kit for the 2023+ Chevy Colorado allows you to install one SSC1 or C1R LED Pod in your 2-inch trailer hitch receiver, adding a high-power reverse light, additional running light, and an optional 4th brake light with the C1R option.

Note: If you're installing the SSC1 HitchMount, use the single output harness without the external driver.
If you're installing the C1R HitchMount, use the dual output harness with the external driver.
Step 1 - Install Harness
Underneath the passenger side tail light, locate the tail light connector above the exhaust pipe. Pull the red locking tab towards the center of the vehicle to disconect it.
Install the provided harness inline with your factory connectors making sure to push the locking tab back into the locked position.
Note: If you're installing the C1R, repeat these same steps to install the second connector inline with the other tail lamp.
Step 2 - Route DT into Hitch Receiver
With the harness secured, route the opposite end over the frame, and feed the DT connector through the back of the hitch receiver.
Step 3 - Install HitchMount LED Pod
Plug the DT connector into your HitchMount LED pod.
Slide your HitchMount into your receiver, and ensure the tabs on the side of the snap-fit housing lock into place.
Step 4 - Test for Function
Verify that everything functions properly, and secure any loose wiring.
