This kit is awesome along with the side marker led lights straight forward installation
I looked at a few videos before installing and decided to not remove the whole bumper to install, saved a lot of time. The lights are super bright and look great. The brackets were pretty generic and required a lot of loosening and moving the light around to get it sitting square in the facia, and then again to get the light sitting to where the facia would go all the way back on. Install probably took 30 minutes, lights are so much better than factory!
The c1r backup hitch light is amazing for backing up down my dark driveway very easy to disconnect. I also went and had the LED license plate lights added it literally likes the back of the truck up as it's just warming up when I go out early in the morning to warm it up in the dark. Definitely a game changer in a safety feature that I love five stars for me.

I think these C lights are great they are perfect for modernizing the car but also getting rid of the turn signal and high beam DRLs! I didn't like how there wasn't any documentation, I would have at least liked a link to reference the WRX C light install which is somewhat a similar install process to the Outback. The one painful thing I learned on these is having to de-pin the JST connector from the C light portion to have it pass through the OEM holes where the lighting elements were previously and having to pass them through the OEM grommet from the original LED C light wiring. I wish there was a Grommet pass-through kit from DD instead of me having to hack up the OEM one. Lastly I found a way to make the C lights behave like the OEM highbeam DRLs and replace the high beam DRLs. You will need to locate the DRL PWM module on the driver side right next to the horn (I have included a drawing in the photos) disconnect the PWM module, there will be a green wire on the connector that you will need to splice with your own wire which you will need two wires that will connect to the red wire on the Diode Dynamics C light harness. I used a 3 pin weather pack connector to maintain some factory features just in case I have to use the OEM PWM module for any reason.
